Job Requirements

  • Ability to take direction and work in a team environment

  • Commitment to quality service and food and beverage knowledge
  • Knowledge and comprehension of safety, sanitation and food handling procedures
  • Basic English language and professional communication skills
  • Able to independently lift up to 15 pounds for extended periods
  • Ability to stand, walk and climb stairs while carrying food items and dishes
  • Must be able to walk or stand for 8 to 10 hours per day
  • Possess good hand-eye coordination
  • Able to reach, bend, twist, stoop, push, pull and lift overhead
  • Must be able to climb stairs in multi-level restaurants

Job Duties

  • Transport food orders from the kitchen to the appropriate tables
  • Announce food items to guests upon delivery
  • Clean, set and reset tables continuously throughout the shift
  • Maintain responsibility for a station and assigned tables
  • Manage side duties to support team efficiency
  • Work collaboratively with team members to exceed guest expectations
  • Ensure adherence to safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
