Job Duties

  • Deliver food orders from kitchen to guest tables rapidly and accurately
  • Act as the contact point between Front of the House and Back of the House staff
  • Communicate food orders to chefs with attention to priorities such as food allergies
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming including proper uniform
  • Follow food safety and sanitary guidelines issued by the Health Department
  • Complete assigned side-work within allocated timeframe
  • Restock plates and refill sauces as needed
  • Check in with guests to take additional orders or refill water
  • Assist with table resetting and non-food and beverage inventory
  • Attend all restaurant required meetings and trainings
  • Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Groot Hospitality standards
