Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in a fine dining or upscale restaurant setting preferred
- ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- physically able to stand and walk for extended periods
- flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- commitment to delivering exceptional guest service
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a food runner, busser, or similar role in an upscale or fine dining restaurant highly preferred
- strong attention to detail, speed, and a sense of urgency while maintaining grace under pressure
- excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- professional, polished appearance and a genuine passion for hospitality
- flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Deliver dishes from the kitchen to guests quickly, accurately, and with polished presentation
- assist servers in maintaining the highest standards of service and guest satisfaction
- ensure food quality and plating meet fine dining standards before presentation
- maintain cleanliness, organization, and flow in service areas
- anticipate team and guest needs, stepping in to support as necessary to ensure seamless service
