Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Food service certification required
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to work under pressure and perform physical tasks such as lifting and standing for long periods
- Willingness to adhere to uniform and Personal Protective Equipment policies
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation
- Physical ability to handle kitchen workload and equipment

- Experience in food preparation or food service is advantageous

Job Duties
- Prepare high-quality meals and baked goods in accordance with the menu
- Document and verify daily transactions and meal prep activities
- Ensure all components of a meal are properly accounted for and prepared
- Ensure proper and hygienic storage of food to prevent spoilage and contamination
- Serve food to customers in accordance with designated meal times and operational procedures
- Properly handle and maintain cooking equipment and sharp utensils
- Ensure timely preparation of all food and beverages for service
- Use garnishes to enhance presentation and appeal of dishes
- Assist with cleaning and maintaining refrigerators, freezers, and cooking equipment
- Adhere to all food safety protocols, including cleanliness, safe handling, and storage
- Follow uniform policy and wear required Personal Protective Equipment when necessary
- Coordinate with manager to ensure accurate menu preparation
- Monitor and maintain correct food temperatures
- Keep work and storage areas organized and sanitary
- Maintain hygiene including steam tables, counters, and appliances
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and dishwashing
- Properly dispose of garbage and maintain clean, sanitized kitchen floors
- Assist with other assigned kitchen duties as needed
