Job Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- ability to walk quickly between tables
- ability to lift moderate loads when delivering dishes or clearing tables
- willingness to work part-time 10 to 20 hours per week
- availability to work in person
- positive attitude and enthusiasm for hospitality
- basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred but not required
- enthusiasm for hospitality essential
- knowledge of food handling procedures food safety guidelines and sanitation practices
- familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS a plus
- experience with banquet service catering or hotel food service advantageous
- strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and interact positively with guests
- ability to stand for extended periods walk quickly between tables and lift moderate loads
- background in culinary arts or kitchen experience enhances ability to support food presentation and preparation
Job Duties
- Deliver prepared food orders from the kitchen to guests’ tables efficiently and accurately
- assist with food preparation tasks including plating and garnishing
- clear and reset tables promptly maintaining cleanliness and organization
- communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers using POS systems
- support restaurant operations by bussing tables refilling water glasses managing guest needs
- uphold food safety standards by handling dishes and utensils properly adhering to sanitation protocols
- provide excellent guest service by being attentive approachable responsive to guest inquiries or requests
