Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in food service preferred
- ability to lift, bend, push, pull and stand for extended periods
- adherence to uniform policy and wearing prescribed personal protective equipment
- physical stamina and endurance
- willingness to maintain cleanliness and safety standards
Job Qualifications
- Food service certification required
- ability to follow both written and verbal instructions
- ability to work under high-pressure situations
- ability to complete tasks quickly and accurately
- good communication skills
- basic food safety knowledge
Job Duties
- Prepare high-quality meals and baked goods in accordance with the menu
- document and verify daily transactions and meal prep activities
- ensure all components of a meal are properly accounted for and prepared
- ensure proper and hygienic storage of food to prevent spoilage and contamination
- serve food to customers in accordance with the designated meal times and operational procedures
- proper handling and maintenance of cooking tools, with particular care for sharp utensils
- ensure all food and beverages are prepared and ready promptly for service
