Job Requirements
- ability to take direction and work in a team environment
- ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
- commitment to quality service and food and beverage knowledge
- knowledge and comprehension of safety, sanitation and food handling procedures
- basic english language and professional communication skills
- physical ability to stand, walk and climb stairs for 8-10 hours per shift
- able to lift up to 15lbs independently
- hand-eye coordination, reaching, bending, twisting, stooping, pushing, pulling, lifting overhead
- must be able to climb stairs in restaurants that have multiple levels
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in food service or restaurant environment an asset
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to work effectively under pressure
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- customer service oriented
- ability to lift and carry up to 15lbs
Job Duties
- transport food orders from kitchen to correct guest promptly
- announce food to guests with a smile
- clean, set and re-set tables continuously
- manage station and side duties effectively
- work cooperatively within team to exceed guest expectations
- maintain knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
- communicate professionally with guests and team members
