Job Requirements
- Ability to take direction and work in a team environment
- Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
- Commitment to quality service, food and beverage knowledge
- Knowledge and comprehension of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
- Basic English language and professional communication skills
- Able to independently lift up to 15lbs for extended periods
- Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs while carrying food items and dishes throughout shifts
- Must be able to walk and stand for 8-10 hours per day
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Able to reach, bend, twist, stoop
- Capable of pushing and pulling
- Able to lift overhead
- Must be able to climb stairs in multi-level restaurants
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in restaurant service or food running is an asset
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
- Knowledge of food handling and safety standards
- Basic English proficiency for clear communication
- Commitment to quality guest service
Job Duties
- Transport food orders from kitchen to tables promptly and accurately
- Announce food orders to guests with a friendly demeanor
- Clean, set, and re-set tables continuously during shifts
- Manage station, tables and side duties effectively
- Work collaboratively with team members to exceed guest expectations
- Maintain a positive attitude under pressure
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation procedures
