Job Requirements
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is a plus training provided
- Team player with a positive attitude strong work ethic and commitment to delivering exceptional guest service
- Excellent communication skills and ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to successfully complete all required training including Food Handler and Alcohol Service Certification or obtain upon hire
- Ability to stand walk bend push pull and lift or carry up to 50 lbs for extended periods
- Carry and balance multiple dishes trays and service items simultaneously
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures conditions noise levels and exposure to hot kitchen equipment
- Required to maintain energy focus and professionalism during peak service periods
- Availability to work flexible schedules including evenings weekends holidays and high-occupancy periods

Job Duties
- Deliver meals promptly and accurately ensuring proper presentation temperature and plating meet MacArthur Place luxury standards
- Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to maintain smooth service flow and timely delivery of all food items
- Engage courteously with guests answer menu questions make suggestions and ensure dietary restrictions allergies and special requests are handled appropriately escalate concerns to management and culinary leaders as needed
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries and support servers by delivering additional condiments utensils beverages or other guest requests
- Assist with tray assembly table setups and service for special events banquets or room service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas tables and service stations restock trays utensils condiments and supplies
- Follow all food safety sanitation and allergen-handling guidelines to ensure guest safety and regulatory compliance
- Monitor the dining environment for safety hazards including spills hot plates or obstacles and take corrective action
- Perform pre-shift duties including setting up stations preparing trays utensils checking supplies and ensuring the dining area is ready for service
- Perform post-shift duties including cleaning service areas storing supplies restocking for the next shift and assisting with inventory checks
- Collaborate with team members during peak service periods to ensure timely delivery and a seamless guest experience
- Maintain a polished appearance and professional demeanor at all times adhering to grooming uniform and conduct standards
- Follow timekeeping attendance meal and rest break policies in accordance with California labor laws
- Uphold MacArthur Place's luxury service standards and commitment to hospitality excellence
- Perform other duties as assigned
