Job Requirements
- Smile and maintain a positive attitude at all times
- Deliver food from kitchen to appropriate server and assist server with delivery of food to guests
- Work with expeditor to ensure efficient delivery of food based on restaurant layout
- Perform food preparation duties when needed
- Follow all Chickie's & Pete's service standards
- Check food for quality and presentation before serving according to menu builds
- Ensure food is transported and handled in a sanitary manner
- Deliver to-go orders to host/hostess stand for guest pick up
- Assist in bussing and cleaning responsibilities
- Ensure all condiments and napkin dispensers are clean and well stocked
- Respond appropriately to guest requests comments and complaints and bring any issues to manager
- Complete beginning change and end of shift side duties
- Work efficiently with a sense of urgency
- Provide garnish for specified menu items according to menu build
- Assist in keeping work areas clean
- Attend all scheduled employee meetings
- Additional tasks as assigned
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment is an advantage
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude and provide excellent guest service
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for long periods
- Basic math and point of sale knowledge
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Job Duties
- Support servers and serve as liaison between the kitchen servers and guests
- Ensure hot food is delivered hot and cold food cold to appropriate server and guests
- Provide garnish presentation and preparation assistance in the kitchen
- Deliver to-go orders to host stand for guest pick up
- Assist in bussing and cleaning responsibilities
- Ensure all condiments and napkin dispensers are clean and well stocked
- Respond appropriately to guest requests comments and complaints and escalate issues to management
