Job Requirements

  • Smile and maintain a positive attitude at all times
  • Deliver food from kitchen to appropriate server and assist server with delivery of food to guests
  • Work with expeditor to ensure efficient delivery of food based on restaurant layout
  • Perform food preparation duties when needed
  • Follow all Chickie's & Pete's service standards
  • Check food for quality and presentation before serving according to menu builds
  • Ensure food is transported and handled in a sanitary manner
  • Deliver to-go orders to host/hostess stand for guest pick up
  • Assist in bussing and cleaning responsibilities
  • Ensure all condiments and napkin dispensers are clean and well stocked
  • Respond appropriately to guest requests comments and complaints and bring any issues to manager
  • Complete beginning change and end of shift side duties
  • Work efficiently with a sense of urgency
  • Provide garnish for specified menu items according to menu build
  • Assist in keeping work areas clean
  • Attend all scheduled employee meetings
  • Additional tasks as assigned

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment is an advantage
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude and provide excellent guest service
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for long periods
  • Basic math and point of sale knowledge
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Job Duties

  • Support servers and serve as liaison between the kitchen servers and guests
  • Ensure hot food is delivered hot and cold food cold to appropriate server and guests
  • Provide garnish presentation and preparation assistance in the kitchen
  • Deliver to-go orders to host stand for guest pick up
  • Assist in bussing and cleaning responsibilities
  • Ensure all condiments and napkin dispensers are clean and well stocked
  • Respond appropriately to guest requests comments and complaints and escalate issues to management
