Job Requirements
- Ability to take direction and work in a team environment
- Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
- Commitment to quality service and knowledge of food and beverage
- Knowledge and comprehension of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
- Basic English language and professional communication skills
- Able to independently lift up to 15 pounds for extended periods
- Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs with food items and dishes throughout the shift
- Must be able to walk or stand for 8 to 10 hours per day
- Hand-eye coordination
- Ability to reach, bend, twist, and stoop
- Capable of pushing and pulling
- Ability to lift overhead
- Must be able to climb stairs in multi-level restaurants
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food service or customer-facing roles preferred
- Basic English language proficiency and professional communication skills
- Understanding of safety, sanitation, and food handling standards
- Ability to follow directions and work effectively within a team
- Demonstrated commitment to quality service and guest satisfaction
Job Duties
- Transport food orders from the kitchen to the appropriate tables in a timely manner
- Announce food orders to guests with a friendly and engaging attitude
- Clean, set, and re-set tables continuously during shifts
- Assume responsibility for assigned station, tables, and side duties
- Collaborate with team members to exceed guests' expectations and provide exceptional dining experience
- Maintain knowledge and compliance with safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
- Assist in ensuring quality service and contribute food and beverage knowledge to enhance guest satisfaction
