Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods
  • Ability to carry trays and plates weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Strong communication skills
  • Previous experience in restaurant environment preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • Ensure each plate is perfectly prepared by tracking cooking times and checking finished product for proper degree of doneness, appearance, and plate presentation
  • Deliver food to the correct table guaranteeing every guest receives exactly what they ordered and how they like it
  • Support the server as needed to optimize the guest's dining experience
  • Demonstrate a guest first mindset placing a high priority on the guest experience
  • Collaborate effectively with kitchen and service staff to maintain smooth operation
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in food runner stations
  • Communicate promptly any issues or special requests to kitchen and management
