Job Requirements
- No prior experience required
- ability to perform repetitive tasks and stay on your feet for extended periods
- must adhere to Local 122 Collective Bargaining Agreement regulations, with the option to obtain union membership after 90 days of employment
Job Qualifications
- Knowledge of tray setups and service ware
- ability to understand verbal English for guest requests and written English for safety notices
- ability to lift, carry, and transport items up to 50 lbs
- ability to learn menu items and garnishes
- ability to multi-task and stay composed during peak hours
- ability to self-motivate during slower periods
- hospitality experience preferred
Job Duties
- Set up garnishes for dishes and prepare trays for service
- stock dishware, silverware, and linens as needed
- maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
- reset trays promptly and efficiently throughout service
- assist with setting up and breaking down station at beginning and end of shift
- deliver food orders accurately and in a timely manner to guests
- maintain ticket times and ensure prompt delivery consistent with quoted times
- ensure proper plate presentation standards are met before delivery
- assist with guest requests to ensure satisfaction
- communicate effectively between servers and kitchen associates
- perform other duties as assigned by management
