Job Requirements

  • One to two years food runner and/or server experience in upscale environment
  • Private club, resort and/or hospitality experience preferred
  • Possess Food Handler Certificate or can obtain within 30 days of hire date
  • RBS certification required or can obtain within 30 days of hire date
  • Must provide valid document(s) to work in the US
  • A great attitude and commitment to providing amazing hospitality
  • The ability to multitask, produce accurate work, be flexible and have fun

Job Duties

  • Deliver all food items to members and guests timely and ensure presentation of dishes are in accordance with club standards
  • Describe all menu food items including the method of preparation, major ingredients, portion sizes, preparation time, quality standards, taste, appearance, texture, serving temperature, garnish, and method of presentation for all menu items
  • Deliver appropriate flatware to tables prior to presenting food
  • Describe items upon deliver to table mentioning items such as sauces, garnish, cooking temperatures, etc
  • Ensure that side stations and food line are maintained with adequate supplies and are clean, organized, and clear of debris
  • Communicate service challenges and/or member feedback to management to ensure proper attention is given to members concerns
  • Ensure inventory of necessary food items (garnishes) are maintained and communicate shortages to management timely
  • Familiarize yourself with members likes, dislikes and allergies whenever possible
  • Ensure all services to members are provided in a highly professional and efficient manner with strong attention to detail
  • Greet and acknowledge members and their guests, by name when known
