Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • at least 18 years of age
  • must be able to speak, read and write English
  • basic food/beverage knowledge
  • ability to lift and carry trays of food
  • food handler's certification or willingness to obtain

  • Previous experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality setting preferred
  • strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Efficiently transport food orders from the kitchen to guest tables
  • ensure accurate order delivery, verifying items and table numbers
  • maintain food presentation and temperature standards
  • set tables with appropriate tableware and condiments
  • clear tables of used dishes and debris promptly
  • reset tables for incoming guests
  • interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner
  • address guest needs and concerns promptly
  • anticipate guest needs and provide proactive service
  • assist kitchen staff as needed, such as plating dishes or running errands
  • maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • collaborate effectively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams
  • communicate clearly and efficiently with colleagues
  • contribute to a positive and supportive work environment
