Job Requirements
- smile and maintain a positive attitude at all times
- deliver food from kitchen to appropriate server and assist server with delivery of food to guests
- work with expeditor to ensure efficient delivery of food based on restaurant layout
- perform food preparation duties when needed
- follow all Chickies & Petes service standards
- check food for quality and presentation before serving
- ensure food is transported and handled in a sanitary manner
- deliver to-go orders to host/hostess stand for guest pick up
- assist in bussing and cleaning responsibilities
- ensure all condiments and napkin dispensers are clean and well stocked
- respond appropriately to guest requests, comments and complaints and bring any issues to manager's attention
- complete beginning, change and end of shift side duties
- work efficiently and with a sense of urgency
- provide garnish for specified menu items
- assist in keeping work areas clean
- attend all scheduled employee meetings
- additional tasks as assigned
Job Qualifications
- must be able to assess, anticipate and meet guests' needs
- must communicate clearly and professionally with guests, vendors, coworkers and management
- must adapt to different personalities without losing focus
- must work well within a team environment
- must understand the restaurant's products and services
- must possess general accounting and mathematical skills
- must be able to speak and write effectively in English
Job Duties
- support servers and serve as liaison between the kitchen, servers and guests
- ensure hot food is delivered hot and cold food cold to the appropriate server and/or guests
- provide garnish, presentation and preparation assistance in the kitchen
- check food for quality and presentation before serving
- ensure food is transported and handled in a sanitary manner
- deliver to-go orders to Host/Hostess Stand for guest pick up
- assist in bussing and cleaning responsibilities
