Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is advantageous
- Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively within a team
- Physical capability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs
- Flexibility to work part-time lunch shifts including weekends and holidays
- Must adhere to health and safety regulations
- Customer-oriented attitude with strong interpersonal skills
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a food runner, busser, or in a fast-paced restaurant environment preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills, ensuring smooth collaboration between FOH and BOH staff
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize service needs in a high-end dining setting
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations is a plus
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 30 lbs, and navigate a fast-paced environment
- Flexible availability, including lunch shifts, weekends, and holidays, based on restaurant operations
Job Duties
- Ensure timely and accurate food delivery from the kitchen to guests while maintaining proper plate presentation
- Communicate effectively with servers, chefs, and kitchen staff to ensure correct food items are delivered to the appropriate tables
- Assist servers in table maintenance, including clearing plates, refilling beverages, and resetting tables as needed
- Provide detailed knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and modifications to answer guest questions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in all service areas, including food stations and expo lines
- Uphold health and safety standards, ensuring all food handling procedures are followed
- Support the expediting process by ensuring plates are prepared to chef’s standards before delivery
- Assist in stocking and restocking service stations, ensuring all supplies are available during service
- Provide exceptional guest service, ensuring guests receive their meals promptly and correctly
- Other duties as assigned
