Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred
- ability to communicate effectively with team members and guests
- physical ability to stand for long periods and carry loads up to 30 lbs
- flexible availability including lunch shifts, weekends, and holidays
- knowledge of cleanliness and food safety protocols
- willingness to follow health and safety regulations
- customer service oriented with a positive attitude
Job Qualifications
- previous experience as a food runner, busser, or in a fast-paced restaurant environment preferred but not required
- strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- excellent teamwork and communication skills, ensuring smooth collaboration between FOH and BOH staff
- ability to multi-task and prioritize service needs in a high-end dining setting
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations is a plus
- ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 30 lbs, and navigate a fast-paced environment
- flexible availability, including lunch shifts, weekends, and holidays, based on restaurant operations
Job Duties
- ensure timely and accurate food delivery from the kitchen to guests while maintaining proper plate presentation
- communicate effectively with servers, chefs, and kitchen staff to ensure correct food items are delivered to the appropriate tables
- assist servers in table maintenance, including clearing plates, refilling beverages, and resetting tables as needed
- provide detailed knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and modifications to answer guest questions
- maintain cleanliness and organization in all service areas, including food stations and expo lines
- uphold health and safety standards, ensuring all food handling procedures are followed
- support the expediting process by ensuring plates are prepared to chef's standards before delivery
- assist in stocking and restocking service stations, ensuring all supplies are available during service
- provide exceptional guest service, ensuring guests receive their meals promptly and correctly
