Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in a restaurant or food service role preferred
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • strong communication skills
  • reliable and punctual
  • ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • willingness to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • expert knowledge in steak excellence including plating and serving standards
  • ability to communicate clearly with kitchen and service staff
  • familiarity with food safety and sanitation standards
  • knowledge of menu and ability to describe dishes
  • ability to perform French serving
  • experience in handling guest orders and payments
  • skills in using KDS technology

Job Duties

  • stocking and organizing the Expo area
  • restocking plates and service items throughout the shift
  • acting as a liaison between Heart of House and dining room to maintain guest service pace
  • communicating effectively with various positions
  • executing shift skills including knowing plating and serving standards
  • removing food promptly from the window
  • upholding food safety and sanitation standards
  • receiving training in KDS
  • describing dishes accurately to guests and French serving as needed
  • deshelling lobster tails
  • marking tables for next course
  • handling off-premises orders over the phone
  • using packaging guidelines for food pick up
  • tendering payment
  • closing checks
