Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in a restaurant or food service role preferred
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- strong communication skills
- reliable and punctual
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- willingness to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends
Job Qualifications
- expert knowledge in steak excellence including plating and serving standards
- ability to communicate clearly with kitchen and service staff
- familiarity with food safety and sanitation standards
- knowledge of menu and ability to describe dishes
- ability to perform French serving
- experience in handling guest orders and payments
- skills in using KDS technology
Job Duties
- stocking and organizing the Expo area
- restocking plates and service items throughout the shift
- acting as a liaison between Heart of House and dining room to maintain guest service pace
- communicating effectively with various positions
- executing shift skills including knowing plating and serving standards
- removing food promptly from the window
- upholding food safety and sanitation standards
- receiving training in KDS
- describing dishes accurately to guests and French serving as needed
- deshelling lobster tails
- marking tables for next course
- handling off-premises orders over the phone
- using packaging guidelines for food pick up
- tendering payment
- closing checks
