Job Description
The Grand Hyatt Deer Valley Hotel is a renowned luxury hotel located in the famed Deer Valley ski resort, just approximately 40 minutes from Salt Lake City International Airport. Part of an ambitious new development project, the Grand Hyatt Deer Valley is set within an expansive complex that includes 17 ski lifts, nearly 1,600 residential units, eight hotels with a combined total of about 1,350 rooms, and approximately 250,000 square feet of conference and retail space. Job Duties
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of food from the kitchen to the dining area
- Verify that all food items meet the restaurant's quality standards and presentation specifications before they are sent out
- Organize and manage tickets to ensure that orders are delivered to the correct tables in a timely manner
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure that all orders are correct and complete
- Maintain a clean and organized expo station in each venue, including keeping track of plates, utensils, and condiments
- Perform routine cleaning tasks in the kitchen areas including wiping down surfaces, cleaning utensils, and maintaining a sanitary environment
- Deliver food orders to the appropriate table
- Assist servers with clearing and resetting tables as needed in both venues
- Address any guest concerns regarding their food promptly and professionally
- Ensure all kitchen equipment in each venue is cleaned and stored properly
- Follow all health and safety regulations and standards
- Return any items from the dining areas of both venues to their proper locations in the kitchen or storage areas
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages or needs to the kitchen or management team
- Assist in organizing and restocking supplies as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned by leadership
