The Grand Hyatt Deer Valley Hotel is a luxury resort situated in the renowned Deer Valley ski resort area, just about 40 minutes away from the Salt Lake City International Airport. Job Duties
- ensure timely and accurate delivery of food from kitchen to dining area
- verify all food items meet restaurant quality standards and presentation specifications
- organize and manage tickets to ensure orders are delivered to correct tables in a timely manner
- communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure all orders are correct and complete
- maintain a clean and organized expo station including tracking plates, utensils, and condiments
- deliver food orders to appropriate tables
- assist servers with clearing and resetting tables
- perform routine cleaning tasks in kitchen areas including wiping down surfaces and cleaning utensils
- monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages or needs to kitchen or management
- report equipment problems, safety hazards or unsafe practices to supervisor
- comprehensive knowledge of menu items and allergens to answer server and guest questions
