Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to lift and push items up to 20 lbs
  • willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • ability to stand for prolonged periods
  • good communication skills
  • must obtain food handlers certification
  • must obtain alcohol compliance certification if applicable
  • physical ability to walk between indoor and outdoor areas

Job Qualifications

  • Food handlers certification or willingness to obtain it
  • alcohol compliance certification if applicable
  • previous experience in food and beverage service preferred
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • attention to detail
  • physical stamina for prolonged standing and walking

Job Duties

  • Delivering food orders from the kitchen to the guest
  • acting as the point of contact between guest and kitchen staff
  • communicating food orders to chefs paying attention to priorities such as food allergies
  • clear and clean tables
  • maintaining cleanliness in the area
  • assist with other duties as assigned
  • walking constantly between the resort and the pool area
  • obtaining food handlers certification and alcohol compliance certification if applicable
  • working a flexible schedule including day and evening shifts, weekends and holidays
