Job Requirements
- Ability to take direction and work in a team environment
- Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
- Commitment to quality service and food and beverage knowledge
- Knowledge and comprehension of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
- Basic English language and professional communication skills are required
- Able to independently lift up to 15 pounds for extended periods
- Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs for 8 to 10 hours per day
- Hand-eye coordination
- Ability to reach, bend, twist, stoop, push, pull, and lift overhead
- Must be able to climb stairs in multi-level restaurants
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is an asset but not required
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to providing excellent customer service
Job Duties
- Transport food orders from the kitchen to the correct tables in a timely manner
- Announce food orders to guests clearly and with enthusiasm
- Clean, set, and reset tables continuously
- Manage station responsibilities including maintaining cleanliness and organization
- Work collaboratively with team members to exceed guest expectations
- Follow safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures consistently
- Maintain a friendly and positive attitude during all interactions
