Job Requirements
- Ability to take direction and work in a team environment
- Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
- Commitment to quality service and food and beverage knowledge
- Knowledge of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
- Basic English language and professional communication skills
- Able to independently lift up to 15 pounds for extended periods
- Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs throughout shifts
- Ability to walk or stand for 8-10 hours per day
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Capability to reach, bend, twist, stoop
- Ability to push and pull heavy items
- Must be able to lift items overhead
- Must be able to climb stairs in multi-level restaurants
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in a food service role is an asset
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Basic food and beverage knowledge
- Understanding of safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure
Job Duties
- Transport food orders from the kitchen to the appropriate tables
- Announce the food to guests upon delivery
- Clean, set, and reset tables continuously
- Manage assigned station and tables effectively
- Perform side duties as required
- Work collaboratively with team members to exceed guest expectations
- Maintain a positive and friendly demeanor throughout the shift
