Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior experience in hospitality or food service
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure
  • Must comply with all local and state food service regulations
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant setting
  • Any State or County required license for the service of food preferred
  • Strong organization and communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to provide genuine hospitality
  • Being a team player considerate of guests and fellow employees

Job Duties

  • Ensuring orders are being prepared with the correct priority when Expo
  • Assisting in the final preparation of dishes such as garnish as required
  • Delivering food to guests in a friendly, timely and accurate manner to both floor and bar sections
  • Following up with guest requests either directly or via the assigned Bartender or Server
  • Assisting Servers and Bartenders in maintenance and cleaning of service utensils and service equipment
  • Interacting with guests to enhance their experience
  • Maintaining an approach to a guest experience focus that centers around genuine hospitality
  • Adhering to all local and state laws regarding the service of food including Steps of Service
  • Ensuring that the Kitchen Line and associated stations or areas are kept stocked and maintained in an organized, clean and sanitary manner
  • Completing all set-up and break-down tasks to standard
  • Having fun during shifts
