Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior food service experience preferred
  • ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • effective communication skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
  • must be able to follow food safety guidelines
  • ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Job Qualifications

  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to describe menu items accurately
  • experience in a fast-paced dining environment preferred
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to work effectively in a team
  • knowledge of plating and serving standards
  • prior experience in a similar role is a plus

Job Duties

  • stock and organize the Expo area
  • restock plates and service items throughout the shift
  • act as liaison between Heart of House and dining room to maintain service pace
  • know plating and serving standards for all dishes
  • promptly remove food from window and uphold food safety standards
  • receive training in Kitchen Display System
  • describe dishes and perform French service as needed
  • deshell lobster tails
  • mark tables for next course
  • take off-premises orders over the phone
  • use packaging guidelines for food pick up
  • tender payment and close checks
