Job Requirements

None education level required
Smile and maintain a positive attitude at all times
Ability to deliver food accurately and timely
Experience working in a fast-paced restaurant environment preferred
Ability to work well with a team
Must follow sanitation and safety standards
Able to handle guest requests and complaints professionally
Good physical stamina to stand and move for long periods
Willingness to attend scheduled meetings

Job Duties

Support servers and serve as liaison between kitchen, servers and guests
Ensure hot food is delivered hot and cold food cold to appropriate server and/or guests
Provide garnish, presentation and preparation assistance in the kitchen
Deliver food from kitchen to appropriate server and assist server with delivery of food to guests
Work with Expeditor to ensure efficient delivery of food based on restaurant layout
Perform food preparation duties when needed
Follow all service standards
Check food for quality and presentation before serving
Ensure food is transported and handled in a sanitary manner
Deliver to-go orders to Host/Hostess Stand for guest pick up
Assist in bussing and cleaning responsibilities
Ensure all condiments and napkin dispensers are clean and well stocked
Respond appropriately to guest requests, comments and complaints and alert manager as needed
Complete beginning, change and end of shift side duties
Work efficiently and with a sense of urgency
Provide garnish for specified menu items
Assist in keeping work areas clean
Attend all scheduled employee meetings
Perform additional tasks as assigned
