- Experience in a food service environment is strongly preferred
- strong interpersonal communication skills (written and verbal) required
- ability to work flexible schedules including holidays, weekends, and evenings
- physical ability to stand and move for extended periods
- capability to kneel, push, pull, and lift up to 30 lbs

Job Duties
- Reports to the Restaurant Manager for daily tasks
- must greet and acknowledge guests upon entry with a warm and welcoming manner
- maintain sanitation and cleanliness throughout service areas
- assist in the storing of all deliveries
- stock condiments and utensils in beverage area
- file coffee and teapots
- be knowledgeable of front and back of house, storage area, and ice room
- maintain appearance of patio furniture and handle opening and closing of umbrellas
- responsible for pulling in signs and shutting down the Food Pavilion
- know menu pricing, location of items, and specials
- understand how each product is prepared and its condiments
- operate all line equipment properly
- maintain sanitation and cleanliness at all times
- exhibit a can-do attitude and total cooperation
- report safety and quality concerns such as spoilage
