Job Requirements
- Certification relating to alcohol awareness such as TIPS or SIPS
- food handling safety certification
- ability to stand walk lift and bend for extended periods of time
- ability to bend and lift up to 50 lbs
- ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
- ability to work a flexible schedule including days evenings weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Two plus years' previous fine dining experience
- previous experience working in a large fast paced restaurant setting
- demonstrates effective oral and written communication interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills
- possesses excellent organizational skills problem-solving skills and time management ability
- actively contributes as a team player by supporting co-workers throughout each workday
- has a solid understanding of the job duties assigned to them and outlined in their job description
- alerts management of all safety concerns immediately
- certification relating to alcohol awareness such as TIPS or SIPS
- food handling safety certification
Job Duties
- Possesses in-depth knowledge of all food and beverage menus and the company
- delivers all food items to the guests in a timely manner
- provides an accurate description of dishes delivered
- communicates the needs of guests to foH staff and/or chefs
- participates in table maintenance and bussing of excess tableware
- maintains the general cleanliness of stations and entire venue
- maintains food runner side station and completes all assigned side work
- portrays a positive and professional attitude and appearance
- understands the policies and procedures of the organization and adheres to the company standards outlined in the company handbook
- possesses conversational knowledge of food and beverage items served at the establishment
- participates in training sessions departmental meetings or pre-shift meetings
- ensures the well-being of all guests and co-workers by following the company safety standards and maintaining compliance with the department of health and OSHAA
