Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Physical capability to carry multiple plates and trays
Willingness to learn and follow instructions
Strong work ethic and reliability
Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Basic proficiency in English
Spanish language skills are beneficial but not mandatory

Job Qualifications

Prior experience in a food service environment preferred
Good communication skills
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
Friendly and approachable demeanor
Basic understanding of menu items and ingredients
Ability to work collaboratively with a team
Bilingual skills, particularly Spanish, are a plus

Job Duties

Primarily serve food to tables including appetizers, entrees, and desserts
Cordially present the food to guests with a smile knowing table and seat numbers to execute a seamless delivery
Maintain knowledge of the food menus to describe ingredients to guests and answer inquiries as needed
Comfortably carry three plates and walk with a tray, but ask for help if necessary to avoid mishaps
Work with other food runners as well as with management, servers, hosts, bussers, and bartenders to create a seamless and memorable dining experience for guests
Expedite food, water tables, pre-bus tables, keep up appearance of the restaurant, help fellow employees and complete additional assigned tasks to provide a productive and positive work environment
Maintain a clean workstation area throughout shift
Attend educational or developmental sessions as required
