Job Requirements

  • Experience in a food service environment is strongly preferred
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including holidays, weekends, and evenings
  • Ability to stand and move for extended periods
  • Ability to kneel, push, pull, and lift up to 30 lbs
  • Knowledge of restaurant menu items and operations

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in a food service environment is strongly preferred
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including holidays, weekends, and evenings
  • Knowledge of front and back of house operations, storage areas, and ice room
  • Ability to operate line equipment
  • Understanding of food preparation and condiment details
  • Positive and cooperative attitude

Job Duties

  • Serve and replenish food items offered at the restaurant
  • Maintain food service and cleanliness
  • Handle guest transactions and ensure smooth and efficient register operations
  • Greet and acknowledge guests warmly upon arrival
  • Assist in storing all deliveries and stocking condiments and utensils in the beverage area
  • Maintain sanitation and cleanliness at all times
  • Know the menu pricing, location of items, specials, and preparation details
  • Operate all line equipment
  • Maintain appearance of patio furniture and manage opening and closing of umbrellas
  • Responsible for pulling in signs and shutting down the Food Pavilion
  • Report safety issues and quality/spoilage concerns
  • Exhibit a 'can do' attitude and total cooperation
