Job Requirements
- High school education required
- prior food and beverage experience preferred
- at least six months customer service experience preferred
- must be at least 16 years of age
- must have or be able to obtain valid Oregon Food Handler’s permit prior to start date
- ability to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
- ability to deal effectively and interact well with guests and associates
- ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner
- passion for creating exceptional experiences for all guests
- ability to stand and walk throughout the shift
- ability to frequently lift and carry up to 25 lbs at shoulder height and occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- ability to occasionally push/pull up to 75 lbs
- ability to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, overhead reaching, and repetitive hand and arm movements frequently
- must be able to occasionally squeeze

Job Duties
- Checks each plate of food to be correct as ordered by the guest
- makes sure all condiments are accompanying each order
- assures that every item on the order is ready and on the tray together
- works diligently to avoid breakage and loss
- notifies server of guest needs
- completes all opening, on-going and closing side work as signed off by manager on duty
- stocks/restocks appropriate linens for service
- stocks/restocks work stations with appropriate plates and saucers
- informs server of any potential guest issues
- provides general resort information for guests
- offers warm and sincere welcome/farewell to all guests including use of guest name and good eye contact
- maintains up to date working knowledge of all resort amenities and special events
- interacts with resort staff professionally assisting other departments with necessary information
- upsells other resort services and amenities to guests
- familiarizes with all menus
- attends mandatory monthly department and resort meetings
- answers questions and makes recommendations on menu items
- performs food preparation duties such as bread & butter setups and condiment preparation
- assures beverage ice bins remain full for service staff
- addresses guest issues promptly and with concern
