Job Requirements
- Ability to stand and move quickly for entire shift
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently
- Good sense of balance and coordination
- Availability to work on call
- Ability to respond to guests professionally and courteously
- Willingness to work flexible hours
- Ability to perform multiple physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, stooping, pushing, and pulling
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good physical condition to meet job demands
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team
- Commitment to delivering exceptional guest service
Job Duties
- Serve food and beverages orders with appropriate garnishments and condiments to guests
- Make sure all food items are served as soon as they are ready
- Ensure each guest seated at a table is served together ensuring proper timing
- Respond to guests' questions with informed answers
- Stand and exert fast-paced mobility for entire shift
- Lift, bend, kneel, stoop, push, pull, and wipe as needed
- Lift and carry food, beverage, and other items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Deliver passionate and engaging service
- Greet guests warmly with a smile
- Use eye and ear contact and use the guest's name
- Anticipate needs and solve requests or complaints
- Build solid relationships with colleagues
- Work in other areas of the hotel as needed to assist operations
