Job Requirements
- must be 18 years or older
- valid driver's license
- clean driving record
- 2+ years of driving experience preferred
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- comfortable with early morning start times
- strong time management and reliability
- excellent communication and customer service skills
- comfort using mobile apps and route tracking tools
- familiarity with philadelphia roadways is a plus
- cdl not required

Job Duties
- safely operate a non-cdl cargo van to complete assigned retail pickup and delivery routes
- hand-load and unload boxes, crates, and perishable food items (up to 50 lbs repeatedly)
- follow strict food safety and handling protocols
- use sharing excess’ custom mobile app to log donations and complete route tracking
- maintain timely pickups and deliveries according to assigned schedules
- assess food quality and communicate any concerns to dispatch or management
- serve as a professional, courteous representative of sharing excess at all partner locations
- maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the vehicle
- communicate route updates, delays, or issues in real time
- adhere to all dot, state, and local driving regulations
