Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • must be at least 18 years of age
  • valid/current CA Driver’s License or other valid state driver’s license
  • proof of minimum CA vehicle insurance coverage
  • acceptable driving record
  • ability to use typical business software and office equipment
  • willingness to submit to criminal background check, drug/alcohol testing, health screening, TB test
  • availability to work part-time, Monday through Friday, 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm
  • ability to drive to multiple school sites
  • compliance with SFSP and CACFP policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • ability to use typical business software and office equipment
  • understanding of the nature and purpose of the YMCA and respective roles of volunteers and staff
  • possess a valid/current CA Driver’s License or other valid state driver’s license
  • provide proof of minimum CA vehicle insurance coverage upon request
  • maintain an approved/acceptable driving record
  • comply with annual Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) by the YMCA
  • submit to and comply with criminal background check, drug/alcohol testing, health screening, TB test

Job Duties

  • Support food service activities at assigned locations
  • prepare and/or serve food items to program participants and eligible youth
  • maintain food service facilities in a safe and sanitary condition
  • drive to designated school sites and arrange food and beverages in designated areas
  • ensure food delivered matches delivery slips
  • turn in Delivery Slips weekly to the Food Program Department
  • maintain refrigerators clean using approved cleaners
  • follow SFSP and CACFP rules and regulations
  • maintain equipment, storage, food preparation, and serving areas sanitary
  • record number of meals served, refrigerator temperature, and MPR using Microsoft Teams
  • communicate to Food Program Coordinators about excessive leftover meals
  • observe students and staff to ensure compliance with Food Program policies and procedures
