Job Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred
  • Current Washington State Food Handler's Card required
  • Serve-Safe certification preferred
  • Minimum two years cooking experience in casual to fine dining, hotels, or healthcare line cook
  • Ability to work rotating weekends and variable shifts
  • On-call availability

Job Duties

  • Provide restaurant-style dining while supporting the use of whole, fresh, local, and sustainable products wherever economically possible
  • Order supplies and maintain cooler and freezer stocks
  • Prepare food items in line with department recipes and production standards
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality, healthy food to patients, staff, families, and visitors
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in food preparation areas
  • Apply culinary expertise in a fast-paced, high volume, customer service focused environment
