Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • legally authorized to work in the United States
  • open to being cross-trained in various departments
  • willing and able to work overtime including weekends when scheduled
  • able to perform physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation

Job Duties

  • Cut and trim meat products using knives and machinery
  • operate various production equipment including packaging, deboning, skinning, and grinding machines
  • operate box and lid making machines
  • strap, lift, and stack processed meat products
  • perform quality checks on trimmed meat
  • follow Good Manufacturing Practice program to ensure safe, quality food production
  • perform other production duties as assigned by management
  • work in hot and cold areas with varying temperatures
  • maintain productivity in a fast-paced environment
  • handle manual product handling using hand tools, knives, and machinery continuously
  • stand and walk for 7-12 hour shifts, including on wet or slippery surfaces
  • lift, carry, push, and pull loads up to 50 pounds
  • climb ladders, steps, stairwells, and walkways as required
