Job Requirements
- 5 years of experience working in food manufacturing and production
- Knowledge of FDA, USDA food and safety regulations and labeling knowledge
- Knowledge of all of Microsoft Office including Excel preferred
- Flexible to work different shifts
- Excellent organizational skills
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
- Ability to work in cold environment (32-37°F)

Job Duties
- Direct, coordinate and plan facility daily activities to ensure production goals are met in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner
- Oversee production members and ensuring they are inspecting, cutting, washing and packaging products according to company standards
- Ensure standards of product quality, allergens, equipment and performance are maintained in order to maximize production
- Make recommendations to upper management about service/purchase of equipment as needed
- Work together with Plant supervisors and leads to maintain a positive and respectful work environment
- Handle vacation approval, scheduling, training and grievances process
- Work with Human Resources to hire, train, and appraise staff effectively
- Take corrective action as necessary in a timely manner in accordance with company policy
- Assist in external auditing SQF-Safe Quality Food requirements including various customer / 3rd party audit expectations
- Perform various other job functions as assigned, like inventory and code management
