Job Requirements

  • NY Food Handler's Certificate/Card
  • 1+ year of high-volume food packaging or food prep experience
  • Ability to carry over 50 pounds and remain standing for long periods
  • Willingness to work in refrigerated kitchen environments
  • Availability to work early morning shifts starting at 6am
  • Ability to follow strict food safety guidelines and company policies
  • Strong communication skills
  • Physical stamina to perform manual tasks and multi-task
  • Flexible to work Monday through Friday and Sunday shifts

Job Qualifications

  • NY Food Handler's Certificate/Card
  • 1+ year of high-volume food packaging or food prep experience
  • Ability to carry over 50 pounds and remain standing for long periods
  • Self-starter with efficient and problem-solver spirit
  • Experience working on teams and enjoys being a team player
  • Multi-tasking skills
  • Interest in being part of a growing company focused on fresh pre-packaged meals
  • Bilingual preferred (Spanish)

Job Duties

  • Work in refrigerated kitchen environments on Cold Line or Packaging station
  • Package fresh ready-to-eat food in trays and seal for delivery following work order instructions
  • Comply with all company policies, safety rules, personal hygiene (GMPs), operational methods, and food safety guidelines
  • Maintain cooler and dry storage areas safe by using "First in First Out" principle and following food safety guidelines
  • Train and perform Standard Operating Procedures daily in the department
  • Ensure food quality is maintained during packaging
  • Communicate effectively with team members
  • Follow recipe orders and instructions from shift leads and chefs
  • Set up and break down station with necessary supplies while following food safety guidelines
  • Prepare dishes and prep ingredients including cleaning, chopping, and assembling recipes at high volume
  • Maintain high sanitary and organizational standards
  • Work with speed and efficiency
