Job Requirements
- Experience in cooking or a comparable role
- food safety certification
- ability to understand and apply food safety regulations
- proficiency in basic math and numerical counting
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- physical ability to lift, bend, push, pull, and stand for long periods
- adherence to safety protocols and company policies

- grasp of basic principles of food preparation and various cooking techniques
- knowledge of compliance with food safety regulations including handling, cleanliness, and storage
- food safety certification
- proficiency in basic math operations
- strong written and verbal communication skills
- ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods
Job Duties
- Cooks and prepare a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes
- sets up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment
- prepares ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items
- safely uses a variety of utensils including knives
- operates equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc
- bakes, roasts, broils, steams, and uses a variety of cooking methods on meat, vegetables, and other foods
- arranges, garnishes, and portions food according to established guidelines
