Job Requirements

  • Experience in cooking or similar role
  • Food safety certification
  • Knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques
  • Understanding of food safety regulations
  • Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, walking, and standing
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to follow safety protocols
  • Basic math proficiency

  • Experience in cooking or a comparable role
  • Knowledge of basic principles of food preparation and various cooking techniques
  • Understanding of food safety regulations including proper food handling, cleanliness, and storage
  • Food safety certification
  • Basic math skills and numerical counting proficiency
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, including written and verbal communication
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods

Job Duties

  • Cooks and prepares a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes
  • Sets up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment
  • Prepares ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items
  • Safely uses a variety of utensils including knives
  • Operates equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers
  • Bakes, roasts, broils, steams, and uses a variety of cooking methods on meat, vegetables, and other foods
  • Arranges, garnishes, and portions food according to established guidelines
  • Properly stores food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures
  • Cleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment, and utensils
  • Maintains excellent customer service and positive demeanor towards guests, customers, clients, and co-workers
  • Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures including accurate food safety and sanitation
  • Ensures security of company assets
