Job Requirements

- minimum of one year of cooking experience
- strong kitchen management skills
- ability to work effectively as part of a team
- excellent organizational skills

- must complete all training requirements including safety, systems, and menu related sessions
- adhere to company appearance standards

Job Duties
- Prepare and cook foods that require longer preparation times
- complete daily prep tasks before service begins
- follow recipes and product directions to prepare, season, cook, taste, carve, and serve a variety of dishes including soups, meats, vegetables, and desserts
- organize preparation items according to the requirements of the prep sheet
- operate kitchen equipment to measure and mix ingredients, wash, peel, cut, and shred fruits and vegetables, and prepare meats
- taste products, monitor production, and maintain accurate records to plan and requisition supplies and equipment effectively
- clean and sanitize workstations and equipment, adhering to all company and regulatory health standards
