Job Duties
- Prepare and cook foods that require longer preparation times
- Complete daily prep tasks before service begins
- Follow recipes and product directions to prepare, season, cook, taste, carve, and serve a variety of dishes including soups, meats, vegetables, and desserts
- Organize preparation items according to the requirements of the prep sheet
- Operate kitchen equipment to measure and mix ingredients, wash, peel, cut, and shred fruits and vegetables, and prepare meats
- Taste products, monitor production, and maintain accurate records to plan and requisition supplies and equipment effectively
- Clean and sanitize workstations and equipment, adhering to all company and regulatory health standards
