Job Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience in a relevant culinary role
- Equivalent of 2-3 years of post-high school education or relevant experience
- Ability to lead and manage a dynamic kitchen team
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food service
- Ability to develop menus and control kitchen inventory
- Willingness to work flexible hours including special events
Job Qualifications

- Comprehensive understanding of food service operations principles and industry practices
- Skilled at leading teams and managing kitchen challenges
- Capable of clear verbal and written communication
- Culinary degree is beneficial but not required
Job Duties
- Capably managing a team and overseeing kitchen functions
- Coordinate and supervise culinary tasks while training and managing kitchen staff
- Monitor daily kitchen operations to facilitate smooth service delivery and uphold quality standards
- Gauge anticipated food consumption to requisition required food items
- Develop and standardize menu options, presentation techniques, and quality standards
- Maintain and operate kitchen equipment properly
- Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
- Oversee special catering events and provide culinary instruction
- Assist in the development of junior culinary staff through mentoring and skill sharing
