Job Requirements

  • 2-3 years of relevant culinary experience
  • Equivalent post-high school education or relevant experience
  • Ability to lead and manage a culinary team
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety standards
  • Effective communication skills
  • Willingness to work hands-on in a fast-paced kitchen environment

Job Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience in a relevant culinary role
  • Equivalent of 2-3 years of post-high school education or relevant experience
  • Comprehensive understanding of food service operation principles and industry practices
  • Skilled at leading teams and managing kitchen dynamics
  • Effective communication skills including speaking, reading, and writing
  • Ability to develop and implement menu and recipe standards
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations in food service environments

Job Duties

  • Coordinate and supervise culinary tasks while training and managing kitchen staff
  • Monitor daily kitchen operations to facilitate smooth service delivery and uphold quality standards
  • Develop and standardize menu options and recipes to guarantee consistent quality
  • Establish presentation techniques and quality standards, plan and price menus
  • Maintain and properly operate kitchen equipment to safeguard performance
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations by upholding sanitation and safety standards
  • Oversee special catering events and provide culinary instruction or demonstrations as required
  • Assist in the development of junior culinary staff by sharing expertise and culinary techniques
