Job Requirements

  • 2-3 years of relevant culinary experience
  • equivalent of 2-3 years post-high school education or relevant experience
  • strong understanding of food service principles
  • leadership and team management skills
  • ability to communicate clearly
  • knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • willingness to work flexible hours

Job Duties

  • Manage a team and oversee kitchen functions
  • coordinate and supervise culinary tasks while training and managing staff
  • monitor daily kitchen operations to ensure smooth service delivery and quality standards
  • develop menus and recipes, standardize production protocols
  • requisition and manage kitchen inventory
  • maintain equipment and ensure proper operation
  • uphold health and safety regulations and sanitation standards
  • oversee special catering events and provide culinary instruction
  • mentor and develop junior culinary staff
