Job Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in a culinary role
  • Equivalent of 2-3 years of post-high school education or relevant experience
  • Ability to lead and manage a kitchen team effectively
  • Strong understanding of food service industry standards
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Commitment to maintaining health and safety standards
  • Ability to oversee budget and cost control

Job Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience in a relevant culinary role
  • Equivalent of 2-3 years of post-high school education or relevant experience
  • Comprehensive understanding of food service operations and industry best practices
  • Skilled at leading and motivating a culinary team
  • Strong communication skills including speaking, reading, and writing
  • Ability to develop menus and implement cost control measures
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a kitchen environment

Job Duties

  • Coordinate and supervise culinary tasks while training and managing kitchen staff
  • Monitor daily kitchen operations to facilitate smooth service delivery and uphold quality standards
  • Develop menu options and standardize production protocols to ensure consistent quality
  • Establish presentation techniques, quality standards, and menu pricing
  • Maintain and operate kitchen equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Uphold sanitation and safety standards to comply with health regulations
  • Oversee special catering events and provide culinary instruction or demonstrations as needed
