Job Requirements
- food protection manager certificate or obtain within 90 days of hire
- bilingual English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese preferred
- minimum of 2 years foodservice experience in food preparation preferred
- foodservice experience with the elderly in community or healthcare settings preferred
- minimum of 1 year experience in leading or managing foodservice operations preferred
- valid BLS certification or higher following American Heart Association or American Red Cross guidelines
Job Qualifications
- food protection manager certificate from an ANSI-accredited training provider meeting ASTM International E2659-09 standard
- bilingual English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese preferred
- minimum of 2 years foodservice experience in food preparation preferred
- foodservice experience with the elderly in community or healthcare settings preferred
- minimum of 1 year experience in leading or managing foodservice operations preferred
- valid BLS certification or higher following American Heart Association or American Red Cross guidelines
Job Duties
- coordinate all food services including breakfast and lunch preparations
- oversee home meals, center snacks, and special events food preparations
- supervise daily duties of kitchen staff to ensure compliance with safety and health standards
- ensure proper food receive, storage, preparation, serving, and disposal
- maintain records for compliance with Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP)
- enforce internal policy and regulations
- provide training and support to foodservice staff
