- previous experience in food preparation or cooking preferred
- ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- knowledge of kitchen equipment operation
- understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
- physical ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights

Job Duties
- Perform specific jobs appropriate to the unit's circumstances determined by the supervisor
- assemble, operate, and disassemble kitchen equipment including meat and cheese slicer, food processor, Robocoupe, food choppers, food blenders and mixers
- operate equipment such as saute burners, convection oven, kettle steamer, warming unit, pizza oven, microwave, grill, flat top and fryer
- stand for extended periods of time
- lift and move food and food containers up to own height
- adhere to workplace safety and sanitation standards
- receive, unpack, rotate, and stow deliveries per supervisor's instruction
