Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in food preparation is preferred
  • Ability to operate kitchen equipment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Capability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and move items up to waist height
  • Adherence to health and safety protocols including COVID-19 standards
  • Willingness to perform various tasks as needed
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately

Job Qualifications

  • Previous food preparation experience preferred
  • Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  • Good communication skills
  • Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and standing for long periods
  • Capacity to follow verbal and written instructions

  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepare, cook and serve hot and cold foods as determined by the supervisor
  • Assemble, operate and disassemble equipment such as meat and cheese slicer, food processor, Robocoupe, food choppers and cutters, food blenders and mixers
  • Comprehend and follow all verbal and written instructions from the supervisor
  • Operate equipment including saute burners, convection oven, kettle steamer, warming unit, pizza oven, microwave, grill/flat top and fryer
  • Receive, unpack, rotate and stow deliveries according to supervisor's instruction and food safety standards
  • Provide customer service with strong communication skills
  • Clean and sanitize using appropriate tools and cleaning agents
  • Lift and move food and non-food items from floor to waist height
  • Adhere to COVID-19 workplace safety and sanitation protocols
  • Follow health and safety regulations related to equipment use and personal hygiene
  • Perform other jobs as determined by the supervisor
  • Stand for extended periods of time
